Who are we?
Our company specializes in providing consultation services on topics related to security, justice and criminal investigations, both in the public and private sector. Although these topics are primarily the responsibility of the public sector, many private institutions are also stakeholders, either by providing services or complying with obligations set forth by law. For this reason, these institutions and both the public and private sectors can benefit from the consultatory services we provide in order to improve their capacities.
Consultequia is not only who we are; it is what we do. Our name combines the word consultoría, to give advice in a specific subject, and Entelecheia, the term Aristotle used to refer to an entity that has reached its full potential. This is exactly what we do: we advise our clients to help them reach their full capacity and be the best version of themselves, be it by advising on concrete issues or implementing capacity-building processes.
Where do we come from?
Consultequia is an initiative of a team of professionals specializing in different disciplines concerned about the current problems faced by systems of administration of justice, security and criminal investigations. Because of our team’s experience working in different organizations in various countries, we understand the challenges these institutions face and strive to take a thorough and interdisciplinary approach to addressing them.
What is the scope of our work?
Our consulting services include all levels to meet the needs of our clients, from a general, organizational level to the implementation stage. At the macro level, we carry out investigations to identify deficiencies in institutional design, and propose, implement and monitor solutions, including working methods and capacity-building. At a micro level, we advise on specific cases, help manage projects and carry out studies on specific subjects.
Where are we headed?
Our goal is to help strengthen institutions of administration of justice, security and criminal investigation to improve the quality of life in societies in which those systems function. This is particularly important in a world deeply affected by organized, transnational crime.
What do we believe in?
At Consultequia, we understand that the most difficult challenges to overcome are those which we do not understand, and that asking the right questions is key. For this reason, we conduct a thorough analysis of these challenges to discover their root causes. Once we identify these, we work in a thorough, rigorous and detail-oriented way to suggest working strategies to our clients.

We meet with our clients as often as necessary to understand their needs and expectations.
Problem Understanding
We thoroughly analyze the problem affecting our client to understand its reach and causes. If necessary, we develop and propose diagnostic processes using a science-based approach.
Intervention Planning
Once we have identified and understood the challenges, we propose sound intervention strategies, considering technical standards as well as the social, political and economic potential of our clients.
Problem Intervention
Once our clients have adopted the solutions that best suit them, we implement a plan of action to solve those problems we’ve identified, or introduce appropriate improvements.
Intervention Evaluation
We evaluate action plans by monitoring performance benchmarks, and if necessary, we propose course corrections to improve their development.
